air cooled snobbery ?
Not on here, was thinking of going to Dubs on the beach on the sunday but I see on their website that -No watercooled vehciles unless pre booked, has it allways been like that? most t3s are now over 20 years old, Ifeel like a leper. How about a Westcountry Dubs all model meet.

Seriously it's not aircooled snobbery - they had some problems last year with some (not all it's important to say) of the gold boys roaring off and generally making trouble hence the watercooled prebook this year as it makes it easier to "filter" who attends!
They are also down on space this year compared to last as the council have given them less space.

Certainly no aircooled snobbery on here........
In fact, its mainly watercooled on here anyway!!!
Does the prebook extend to wasserboxer Type 25's....
Cos I aint gonna be roaring around in that one.........
now the Buggy on the other hand............

There is always going to be aircooled snobbery, they are just cooler, it is a fact. T4s are cool, when compared to a Ford Transit.

Lets see what Type 25s and T4s are like in 40 years. Oh I'm sorry we won't be able to, they will all have been scrapped by then.

Well, they are known as the type 25 in the UK as opposed to the rest of the world where they are a type 3 - same way a beetle is mostly just known as a beetle but except in a few cases is actually a VW Type 1 Sedan

Yeah - OK T3 - they are still known as a type 25 by most people in the UK - Correct or not it's a name that people recognise like Beetle

Re: air cooled snobbery ?
I know there official designation is a T3, but as Carbon has already said they are more commonly known as a Type 25. It is better to call them a Type 25 as it saves any confusion with this...
Which is a proper T3. I like T25s but only aircooled ones, I can't see why anyone would want the unreliability of adding water to a rear engined vehicle.
