Bloody average speed cameras!

There are a few sites about and i keep getting tail gated through them?
I figure that you can do 10% over the speed limit anywhere and thats allowed (dont know where i heard it but thats what i do ), so you can do 55 average and not get a ticket? i've not yet anyway but have been keeping to 50 - 52 ish. but some people still tail gate me and then roar past me, any one else? or do they know something i dont?
